About the Role
As a Technical Field Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming the hospitality industry by empowering hotel staff with the skills they need to operate our cutting-edge check-in kiosk systems. You’ll travel extensively to deliver hands-on training, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide ongoing support, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Your role goes beyond just teaching; you’ll build strong relationships, simplify complex technology, and motivate teams to embrace innovative solutions, all while maintaining brand standards and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for hotel front desk staff and managers using automated check-in kiosks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to SaaS products, networking, and hardware.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals and presentations.
- Provide ongoing post-training support to ensure successful implementation.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for training-related inquiries.
- Travel to various hotel locations, ensuring timely and practical training.
- Collaborate with Client Success, Implementation, and Engineering teams to refine training processes and address client needs.
- Utilize motivational techniques to engage and enhance the performance of hotel staff.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably front-of-the-house, or in a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting SaaS products, basic networking, and VPNs.
- Training Expertise: Strong background in training and developing educational materials, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
- Travel Willingness: Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50-80%).
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with both operational and IT teams, ensuring smooth communication and implementation.
- Motivational Skills: Proven ability to motivate and engage teams, enhancing their performance through training.
- Big Plus: Any prior experience training or working with POS systems such as Oracle Opera, Symphony, POS Kiosks, etc. are encouraged to apply.
