We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team full-time, fully remote.

About The Opportunity:

As a Tech Lead you will contribute as a lead to all facets of our platform focusing, on reliability, performance and scale. You will work closely with other developers to design and implement various components, product owners and UX designers to understand the features we are building and to improve product experience, QA and regulatory to ensure the development of quality software. Being part of a small team at an exciting start-up in a fast-paced environment, you will be able to contribute to team growth, development of the organization and to make an impact.

What will your Role Entail:

  • Design and develop the platform architecture.
  • Implement scalable and efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
  • Design and develop APIs and services that enable integration of our applications with external systems and services.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of the applications by implementing best practices for software engineering and testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology stack developments and contribute to the development of new features and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong programming skills (C#, Java, JavaScript preferred but not a must).
  • Experience with data storage technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and Microservices containerization (Docker & Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with Agile and secure software development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Extra:

  • Experience with DICOM, DICOMWeb, FHIR, HL7 protocols.
  • Experience with developing solutions for the Digital Health environment, specifically medical software devices.
  • Experience with AD, SSO, Identity Providers.
  • Experience with EMR /PACS integrations.
