About:

We're seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help us create and support an intuitive, real-time communication tool for first responders and communities affected by natural disasters such as wildfires and hurricanes.

User experience is more than just a differentiator – ease-of-use and clarity are essential tenets of the product and make all the difference in dire situations during a disaster. By helping us iterate and improve our product, you will help to create a unique user experience in high-stress, high-risk environments.

Our mission is to provide trusted information to bridge the gap between governmental agencies and the communities they serve. We do this by improving the quality of current evacuation warnings and other communications: rather than rely on text-based notifications sent to entire cities or counties, emergency managers can use us to send communities accurate and detailed evacuation maps with recommended routes and guidance on where to go. Unlike a traditional text message, we provide real-time information on how a disaster is progressing.
