About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust software solutions. In this role, you will focus on manual testing (80%) with some involvement in automation testing (20%) to support our client’s transition toward greater test automation. You will play a crucial role in identifying bugs, creating test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive manual testing to identify bugs and ensure software functionality.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
  • Perform regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Write and execute basic automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD workflows.
  • Contribute to automation efforts by learning and implementing modern testing frameworks such as Playwright (if applicable).
  • Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar test management systems.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to ensure test coverage and product quality.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on manual testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD integration and test automation pipelines.
  • Knowledge of regression testing and ability to write clear and concise test cases.
  • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
  • Exposure to modern testing frameworks like Playwright (preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
