About the Role:

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our Node/NestJS & ReactJS-based platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting manual testing of the web application, APIs, and AI-related features, while also documenting findings, drawing test scenarios, and reporting issues to the development team. This role requires strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in both traditional software and AI-driven components.

What You’ll Do:

  • ✔ Manual Testing & Documentation – Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing on web applications, APIs, and AI models.
    ✔ API Testing – Validate API endpoints, request/response handling, and ensure data integrity using tools such as Postman or similar.
    ✔ AI Model Testing – Ensure that AI-powered features provide expected outputs, flag inaccuracies, and document test cases related to AI behavior.
    ✔ Bug Reporting & Issue Tracking – Log, categorize, and track defects in a bug tracking system like Jira or Trello.
    ✔ Test Case Development – Create, maintain, and execute structured test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on requirements.
    ✔ Usability & UI/UX Testing – Validate UI components, responsiveness, and user experience, ensuring a smooth and intuitive application flow.
    ✔ Collaboration with Developers – Work closely with engineers to reproduce issues, analyze root causes, and suggest improvements.
    ✔ Performance & Security Awareness – Identify slow-performing features, broken APIs, or security vulnerabilities and escalate findings as needed.
    ✔ Reporting & Communication – Provide clear and concise testing reports, highlighting key issues and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

✔ 2+ years of experience as a QA Manual Tester in web applications.
✔ Experience testing web applications built with Node.js/NestJS & ReactJS.
✔ API testing experience using tools like Postman or similar.
✔ AI Testing Awareness – Comfortable validating AI-powered features, assessing expected vs. actual results, and testing AI accuracy.
✔ Basic understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) for validating backend data integrity.
✔ Experience documenting test cases, bug reports, and test results.
✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
✔ Experience using issue tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
✔ Basic familiarity with Git & version control workflows (preferred).
✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have (Not required):

➕ Exposure to automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
➕ Prior experience testing AI/ML applications.
➕ Understanding of CI/CD workflows and testing integrations.
➕ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
