Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Generative AI Developer with deep expertise in custom Large Language Models (LLMs) specifically tailored for the health tech sector. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in handling HIPAA and PHI regulations, ensuring that all AI solutions comply with the highest standards of data security and privacy. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, spearheading the development of a groundbreaking product designed to review and analyze surgical records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom LLMs for health tech applications, with a focus on processing and analyzing surgical records.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and PHI handling protocols, integrating secure and compliant solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to build, scale, and maintain AI models, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, set milestones, and drive the project to successful completion.
  • Implement and manage data security measures, including clear data protocols, to protect sensitive health information.
  • Use Bitbucket for version control and collaboration, ensuring code quality and project transparency.
  • Work as an individual contributor while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI, healthcare technology, and data security to continuously improve and innovate our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML development, with at least 3 years focused on Generative AI and custom LLMs in a healthcare setting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience with HIPAA regulations and PHI data handling.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
    • Experience with Bitbucket for version control.
    • Familiarity with clear data security practices in health tech.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be located in the USA.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Self-driven and able to work independently as a senior individual contributor.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
