👋 SDRs, BDRs, HR-Tech Sales & hunters - Are Welcome!

We’re open to all sales professionals—including high-performing SDRs and BDRs—who understand the startup hustle and want to grow into a leadership role. If you’re hungry, resourceful, and know how to navigate early-stage startup environments, we want to hear from you.

About TechTeems

TechTeems is a boutique recruiting agency helping startups and growth-stage companies build high-output tech teams. From backend engineers to DevOps specialists and product managers, we deliver talent that makes an immediate impact.

Our team operates like a startup—we're lean, fast-moving, and laser-focused on solving hard hiring challenges for founders, CTOs, and venture-backed teams.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Director of Sales to lead new business acquisition and help build the foundation for our long-term sales strategy. This is a hybrid role—part hunter, part strategist, part operator—reporting directly to the founder and collaborating with our Global VP of Sales.

You’ll be our boots on the ground—owning outreach, qualifying and closing deals, and laying down scalable playbooks. You’ll also help shape partner programs and marketing activities to fuel growth.

If you have startup sales experience, or if you’re an ambitious BDR/SDR ready to step up, we’ll give you the tools, support, and runway to level up.

Your First 30/60/90 Days

  • 30 Days: Learn our services, messaging, and ideal client profiles. Start shaping your outreach.

  • 60 Days: Launch outbound efforts, connect with partners, and drive meetings with startup DMs.

  • 90 Days: Own the funnel, close deals, and work with the VP of Sales on refining our pipeline and pitch.

What You'll Do

  • Own the entire sales funnel—from sourcing and outreach to meetings, proposals, and closing.

  • Connect with startup decision-makers: Founders, CTOs, Heads of Product, and VCs.

  • Follow up on inbound leads and re-engage warm prospects.

  • Book and run sales meetings—live and virtual.

  • Help shape and execute campaigns with the Global VP of Sales (events, partner outreach, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Attend relevant startup meetups, events, and tech networking opportunities.

  • Identify new partnership opportunities (accelerators, VCs, dev shops).

  • Collaborate with recruiting and marketing to ensure a smooth handoff from closed deal to delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales, BDR, SDR, or client-facing role—ideally in tech, staffing, or a recruiting firm.

  • Comfortable selling to startups, scale-ups, or tech-savvy clients.

  • Proven closer with experience booking meetings and managing the sales process.

  • Comfortable working with minimal direction—we’re looking for someone self-motivated and proactive.

  • Strong communicator who can tailor messaging based on buyer persona.

  • Experience with CRMs (HubSpot preferred).

  • Bonus: You’ve worked at a startup or sold into the tech ecosystem.

Why TechTeems

  • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

  • Clear career path into Sales Leadership

  • Health benefits and generous PTO

  • 100% remote with flexible work hours

  • Collaborative, no-BS culture with smart, driven teammates

  • Opportunity to shape sales programs from the ground up
